Amberella is what happened when owner/artist Amber Lynn Thompson turned herself inside out, revealing a pink paradise with a punk heart. Kicking off a grand-opening weekend replete with birthday cupcakes, bubbles, cotton candy, a live harpist and an opera singer is the exhibit "Ma Vie en Rose" (my life in pink). It features L.A. artist Kime Buzzelli's creepy, dreamy paintings (pictured), as well as new works from locals Kris Chau, J.L. Schnabel and Derek Ihnat.
